Tattootatu has tested the quality of the materials and inks used in its temporary tattoos in independent laboratories. The result is that our stickers guarantee safe application on the skin and are approved for distribution as a cosmetic product and toy within the European territory.

Regulations affecting temporary tattoos
Temporary tattoos are considered toys and cosmetics within the European territory. They are classified as toys as they are primarily aimed at children, and as cosmetic products as they come into contact with the skin. Therefore, tattoos must comply with a series of quality standards that ensure their safety.
These are the regulations and requirements that Tattootatu's stickers comply with:
- REACH compliance: the tattoos do not contain substances present on the SVHC list
- "Physical and Mechanical Testing": European Standard EN-71 Part 1
- "Flammability": European Standard EN-71 Part 2
- Toy Safety. Migration": European Standard EN-71 Part 3

- Cosmetic Product Safety Report in accordance with regulation (EU) 1223/2009
